Franklin R. Lee

Brother Franklin R. Lee was born in Flint, Michigan.  He attended elementary school in Ohio. His family moved to Arizona when he was in Junior High and he graduated from Casa Grande High School.  He and his wife Lewrana were married in 1998 and between them they have 6 children, 5 sons and 1 daughter.  So far, they have 13 grandchildren ranging from 6 months to 15 years old.

Frank was a Union Ironworker for over 30 years and retired in 2008.  As an Ironworker he worked on such projects at the Minuteman missile silos in Missouri and the MX Missile site in Nevada, were he was in charge of creating the welding procedures for the strategic air command.  He has also worked on the Star Wars defense program, the Diablo Canyon nuclear plant and Kaiser Hospital in Fontana.  He became a licensed General Contractor in 1990 and in 1992 he opened his own construction company, specializing in commercial structural steel welding.  His largest project to date was working on quite a few buildings in Downtown Disneyland in Anaheim.  When he is not attended a Lodge function, he spends his spare time doing what he enjoys most, kitchen and home remodeling  were he is able to create the homeowners dream home.

Brother Frank was initiated into Indian Springs Lodge # 48 on November 19, 1982, while working at the Nevada test site in Las Vegas and raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason on December 13, 1982 and affiliated with Temescal Palms Lodge #314 in December of 1986. He served as Master in 1990 and as Officers Coach 1991 – 1997.

In 1999 the Lodge awarded Frank with the Hiram award. He was appointed Inspector of 447nd Masonic District in 2005 by Most Worshipful David Doan. He was appointed as Inspector- at –Large for Division VIII in 2009. He was appointed as Assistant Grand Lecturer of Division VIII in 2010.

Frank is a member of Al Malaikah Shrine, the San Bernardino Scottish Rite and all three York Rite bodies in Riverside, where he served as High Priest, Illustrious Master and Commander. He was honored with the Knight York Cross of Honor by the Los Angles Priory in 2009. In 2007-2008 Frank proudly served as Grand Master of the 1st Veil for the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Mason in California. He is currently in line at the Southern California York Rite College # 110 in Rosemead. He also served as President of the Corona Circle City Shrine Club in 1998, 1999 and 2004, a member of Riverside High 12, Southern California Past Master Association, and is a two time Past Patron of Crown Chapter # 162, Order of the Eastern Star.  Frank served as Chapter Dad in the early 90,s and has served on the Advisory Board for Foothills of Heaven Assembly #274 in San Jacinto and was a council member for Redlands Bethel #300 in 2011.
